Specialist support

Some people may need more targeted support following illness, hospital admission or changes in mobility, memory or daily functioning.

What is private nursing care?

Private nursing care may support people with health-related needs at home, depending on the care arrangement and the clinical support required.

What is post-hospital care?

Post-hospital care supports people after a hospital stay. It may include practical assistance, recovery support, care coordination and help with routines at home.

What is respite care?

Respite care provides temporary support when family members or regular carers need a break, are unavailable or require additional help managing care needs.

What does dementia home care involve?

Dementia home care supports people living with memory changes, confusion or cognitive decline. Support may focus on routine, reassurance, safety, comfort and familiar daily activities.

When might physiotherapy or occupational therapy be useful?

Physiotherapy or occupational therapy may be useful when a person needs support with mobility, strength, function, daily activities, equipment advice or safer ways to manage at home.

Blended Delivery

5 days per week training
